Minimalist black sneakers, designed in Estonia and made in Italy.

The KIRA Sneakers Black are the first KIRA shoes made in Italy, developed with a family-owned Italian workshop that has made casual footwear for generations. They pair Nordic simplicity with everyday comfort: light on the foot, built on a wider last and made from easy-care, partly recycled materials. Like every KIRA shoe, they contain no materials of animal origin.

How to measure

Stand on a sheet of paper in the socks you plan to wear, mark your heel and longest toe, and measure the distance in centimetres. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

Fit notes by model

  • Samelin 553P and 5531 hiking boots run large. We recommend one size down from your usual size.
  • Samelin 598 desert boots run slightly large. Sizing down often gives a better fit.
  • Nesna Lobben and Polar Lobben felt boots: buy up to 2 sizes bigger than your normal shoes, especially if you wear thick wool socks.
  • Natural felt slippers mould to your feet and may stretch slightly over time, so choose a snug fit.
