TOKU Berlin sandals are designed by Kristiina Nurk and are handmade in Estonia. The sandals have leather upper and soft lycra lining. The insole is ergonomic, covered with soft latex leather and the outsole is made of light EVA rubber.

All TOKU shoes are handmade in southern Estonia by a small family company that has made great shoes since 1927. They practice slow fashion by using natural, high-quality materials and creating versatile, long-lasting styles, ensuring your sandals serve you for years. The Jury at the Estonian Design Awards has described TOKU brand as The New Estonian Classic.

How to measure

Stand on a sheet of paper in the socks you plan to wear, mark your heel and longest toe, and measure the distance in centimetres. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

Fit notes by model

  • Samelin 553P and 5531 hiking boots run large. We recommend one size down from your usual size.
  • Samelin 598 desert boots run slightly large. Sizing down often gives a better fit.
  • Nesna Lobben and Polar Lobben felt boots: buy up to 2 sizes bigger than your normal shoes, especially if you wear thick wool socks.
  • Natural felt slippers mould to your feet and may stretch slightly over time, so choose a snug fit.
