Nordicbuddies launched in the end of 2019 to express our passion to the Moomin values. Based in Finland & Sweden, we felt a strong need for a Moomin collection for young stylish adults. We, the creators of Nordicbuddies, grew up with the 90s animation and are now adults and still big fans of the Moomins. We want to represent their story and values and invite the younger and older generations to join us!

The backpack has one main compartment and a separate little pocket on the front side. Both have a big zipper puller that is perfect for little fingers. The padded and adjustable shoulder straps feature a chest strap. This strap prevents the shoulder straps from falling off the shoulders. On the inside, there is a name tag and a separate flat pocket. On top of that, the backpack has a water-repellent coating. This backpack easily fits your little one’s accessories for daycare or your favorite toys and animal friend for a little trip! Ateena is a handmade leather crossbody bag from Estonian designer Gerda Retter which can also be worn as a handbag. The bag features an inner zipper pocket and an adjustable strap. It is crafted from handpicked Spanish leather in Gerda Retter’s studio in Tartu, Estonia.

Gerda Retter is an Estonian accessory designer who created her brand in 2016 while studying at the Tartu Higher Art School in the field of leather design. In addition, Gerda has studied under the guidance of accessory design masters in both Italy and Hungary. Gerda was nominated for the Design-a-Bag competition in Hong Kong in 2015 and has been nominated for the BRUNO Award at the Estonian Design Award for several years.
